Cutaneous lymphomas.Dummer R, Stadler R, Sterry W Department of Dermatology, University of Zurich, Switzerland. reinhard.dummer@usz.ch Cutaneous lymphomas are rare skin diseases. They must be differentiated from secondary skin infiltrates by primary nodal lymphomas. Primary cutaneous lymphomas can be classified into B- and T-cell lymphomas and hematodermic neoplasms; they usually possess a favorable prognosis and run a chronic course. Treatment is dependent on stage. As complete cure is not possible, it is essential to control the disease and alleviate symptoms. In recent years numerous new drugs have been developed to treat these diseases. Published 5 July 2007 in J Dtsch Dermatol Ges, 5(7): 605-17.
